What we collect, where it goes, and when it is deleted

In short. The free quick check runs in your browser; the file never leaves your computer. For a pilot, your PDFs are stored in a private Cloudflare bucket in Eastern North America, processed on a computer we operate in Canada, and their page images and text are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for the AI step. Paddle takes the payment. Everything you upload, and everything we produce from it, is deleted automatically 45 days after upload. We use no cookies of our own and no advertising trackers.
The free quick check
When you pick a PDF on the home page, JavaScript in your browser reads the file's structure and shows the result. The file, its name and the result are not sent anywhere. We cannot see them. If you close the page, nothing remains.
The pilot
What we collect
- From Paddle, after you pay: your email address, name and billing country, the transaction id and the amount paid. Paddle, not Pagorin, collects and stores your card or PayPal details.
- From you, on the order page: the PDF files you upload, with their file names and page counts.
- What we produce: the repaired PDFs, the checker results and the per-document reports, plus a processing log (timings, token counts, warnings) for each file.
- Support email: what you write to support@pagorin.com and our replies. We do not send marketing email, and at present we send no automatic emails at all; your order page is where delivery happens.

We send Anthropic only what the AI step needs: page images, extracted text and the block layout. We do not send your name or email with it. Anthropic's commercial terms govern that processing; see Anthropic's commercial terms and privacy policy.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded files, repaired files, reports and logs: deleted automatically 45 days after upload by a rule on the storage bucket. That leaves up to 5 business days for delivery and about a month for you to download. Ask earlier and we delete sooner.
- Order record (email, transaction id, amount, dates, which documents passed): kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, then deleted.
- Support email: kept while the conversation is useful to you, then deleted.
Analytics and cookies
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint, and does not track you across sites. We set no cookies of our own. Paddle's checkout, when you open it, runs in its own frame and may set cookies that Paddle needs to complete the payment; see Paddle's privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to delete your files before the 45 days are up. Write to support@pagorin.com from the email address on the order and we reply within a few business days. If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you more rights (for example PIPEDA in Canada, GDPR in the EU, or a US state privacy law), those rights apply as written.
Children
Pagorin is a service for organisations and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes and the old version stays available on request. Material changes that affect an open order are shown on the order page.
