Short, plain terms

1. What Pagorin is

Pagorin repairs PDF files for accessibility, checks the result with an independent automated checker, and reports what still needs a person. It is a document-structure service. It does not certify that a document complies with any law or standard, and nothing on this site is legal advice.

2. The free quick check

The quick check runs in your browser and the file is not sent to us. It is offered as is, as a quick look at a few basics. It is not a full PDF/UA check and its result is not a guarantee of anything.

3. The pilot

• The pilot is one order: up to 5 PDF files and 25 pages in total, for the price shown at checkout (US$99 plus any sales tax or VAT). Payment is taken by Paddle as merchant of record; Paddle's checkout terms apply to the payment itself.
• We deliver the repaired files and a report per document on your order page within 5 business days (Monday to Friday, Ontario time) of the moment you close uploads with "Start the repair". Bookmark the order page; it is where delivery happens.
• What "delivered" means: the repaired file and its report are available for download. A document may be reported as "does not pass" the automated check; that is still a delivery, and the report says why.
• Files over the limits (more than 5 files, more than 25 pages in total, over 20 MB each, or password-protected) cannot be uploaded. We do not process files that are sent outside the order page.
• Refunds are described in the refund policy: full refund if delivery is late, or on request within 14 days of delivery.

4. Your files

• You confirm you have the right to upload and have us process each file. You keep all rights to your documents; the repaired files are yours.
• We use your files only to deliver the order and to answer your support questions. We do not use them to train models and do not share them with anyone except the processors named in the privacy policy.
• Files and outputs are deleted 45 days after upload. Download what you need before then.

5. What we do not promise

• We do not promise that any document will pass the automated check, or that a document that passes meets any law, regulation or standard.
• AI-proposed content (alternative text, field labels, structure) is a proposal. You are responsible for reviewing it before you publish.
• Our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect losses.

6. Acceptable use

Do not upload files that contain malware, that you have no right to process, or that are unlawful. We may refuse or cancel an order that breaks these terms and refund it.

7. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. If we change them, the date at the top changes; an order placed under earlier terms stays under those terms. Questions: support@pagorin.com.
