What you get, per document
- The repaired PDF. Tags, reading order, headings, lists, tables, figure alt-text proposals, form-field labels, language and title; recognised text on scanned pages. Page content and appearance unchanged.
- The independent checker's result. veraPDF, PDF/UA-1 profile, before and after: "passes automated checks" or "does not pass", with the failed rules listed. Never "compliant".
- The list for a person. Which pages and items to look at: proposed alt text, table headers, places where the text grouping deserves a glance, substituted fonts. No person at Pagorin checks every page; the report says so and tells you where to look.
How Starter runs
- SubscribeUS$79 a month, plus sales tax or VAT where it applies, through Paddle's checkout on this page. Your month starts today and renews on the same day each month until you cancel.
- UploadRight after payment you land on your account page. Add PDFs, up to 20 MB each; the page counts pages in your browser before each upload, so you can see how much of the month's 100 pages is left.
- Start the repairPress "Start the repair" to submit a batch. You can submit several batches a month, as long as the pages fit.
- DeliveryEach batch is on your account page within 5 business days (Monday to Friday, Ontario time) of submitting it; bookmark the page. Files and results stay for download until 45 days after upload, then they are deleted automatically.
What to send
- PDFs you have the right to process: your own publications, forms, minutes, reports, notices.
- Up to 20 MB per file. Every page counts once against the month's 100; unused pages do not carry over.
- Not password-protected. Remove any open password first.
- English documents are what we have tested. Other languages may work; the report will say if the language tag was set and the checker's result stands either way.
- Mixed is good: a form, a scanned page and a report with tables show more than a stack of similar files.
If something goes wrong
Ask for a refund of your first month within 14 days of your first payment, for any reason or none. If a delivery misses the 5 business days, that month's payment is refunded in full without asking. Write to support@pagorin.com. Full text: refund policy.
Cancelling
From your account page, "Manage or cancel your subscription" opens Paddle's portal. Cancel anytime; the plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, and nothing is charged after that. Your files are deleted on the usual schedule, 45 days after upload.
Where your files go
Uploads go to a private, encrypted Cloudflare R2 bucket in Eastern North America. Processing runs on a computer operated by Jelista Strategies Inc. in Canada. Page images and extracted text are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for the AI step; Anthropic acts as our processor. Files and outputs are deleted automatically 45 days after upload. Questions
Will my documents be compliant afterwards?
We do not say that, because no checker can. You get a file that passes (or does not pass) an independent automated check, plus the list of things a person should confirm. Whether a document meets a law's requirements is a judgment for you or your accessibility office.
What if a document does not pass?
You still get the repaired file and the report with the failed rules and the reasons, so you know exactly what is left. Its pages still count against the month. If that is not what you wanted in your first month, the 14-day refund applies.
What happens to pages I do not use?
They expire at the end of the month. The allowance resets to 100 on your renewal date.
Can I review and send corrections?
The report lists the items to confirm. If you find something wrong, write to support@pagorin.com with the document and page; we will tell you what we can do.
Can I pay by purchase order or invoice?
Not yet. Starter is card or PayPal through Paddle, with a receipt for each payment that names Jelista Strategies Inc. If your organisation can only buy on invoice, write to us; it helps us plan the larger plans.
